Wei Sun

His research focuses on minerals processing, interfacial chemistry, and hydrometallurgy. Dr. Sun obtained his B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. from CSU and completed post-doctoral work at the University of Alberta and the Shanghai Institute of Ceramics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He has published over 200 SCI-indexed papers in top-tier journals such as Water Research, Langmuir, Journal of Colloid and Interface Science, Minerals Engineering, and Hydrometallurgy. His contributions to the efficient development of oxide mineral resources, including tungsten, phosphorite, fluorite, and lithium ores, have been significant. Dr. Sun has been honored with 2 National Awards for Scientific and Technological Progress and several provincial and ministerial science and technology awards.
