He is the winner of Young Elite Scientists Sponsorship Program by China Association for Science and Technology, the winner of Xingdian Young Talent by Yunnan Province, and the winner of Chuncheng Young Talent by Kunming City. He has long been committed to the technical research, development and industrial application of motor vehicle exhaust aftertreatment and industrial waste gas purification catalysts. The research team has chaired and participated in more than 50 national, provincial and ministerial projects, formulated 4 national/industry standards, won 8 national, provincial and ministerial science and technology awards, authorized 16 invention patents, and published more than 40 papers. The team has developed more than 20 types of automobile catalyst, including the China 6 automobile and China VI diesel vehicle catalysts that broke the foreign monopoly and achieved import substitution; the research and development results of China 6 catalysts for hybrid vehicles were first applied in the BYD market, creating economic benefits of nearly 6 billion yuan.
